NBA
Rumors: The
New York Knicks have already made a big move this season when they acquired OG Anunoby from the Toronto Raptors. Since then, they have become the hottest team in the league, scoring a 14-2 record and climbing to the third spot in the Eastern Conference standings. But they might not be done making moves before the upcoming NBA
trade deadline.
It is being reported by HoopsHype that the Knicks are interested in
Bruce Brown,
Malcolm Brogdon,
Alec Burks,
Jordan Clarkson, and
Kelly Olynyk.
That list shows that the Knicks are interested in adding players who could play the pivotal role of sixth man for the Knicks. Clarkson and Brodgon would both fit that role supremely well, as they have each been awarded Sixth Man of the Year by the league.
It's not entirely clear which New York players would be on the trading block in order to land Brown, Brogdon, or others. Quentin Grimes has long been rumored as a possible trade asset for the Knicks and he is a likely candidate to be sent away. Draft picks might also be considered too.
The Knicks don't want to jinx the good thing they currently have going right now but the front office also want to capitalize on the strong energy and terrific track record they have built this year.
