Boston Celtics are going through a great campaign and many
have already labelled them as the favourites to lift the NBA title this season.
Not only do they have the tag of the favourites but this
Celtics side has managed to achieve something no other team achieved in the
history of the NBA.
The Celtics managed to thrash the Golden State
Warriors in the match on Sunday with a score of 140-88. It was their 11th
consecutive win. After that result, Joe Mazzulla’s men currently have the
highest points differentials over any 11-game stretch with +243 points.
Previously, it was the Milwaukee Bucks who held the record
as they had a points differential of +236 in an incredible 1971 season.

Milwaukee Bucks +236 (1971)
Milwaukee Bucks +231 (1971)

Not only that but they are on course to become one of the teams
to finish the regular season with a net rating of +10. As things stand, the
Celtics have a net rating of +11.6 which is the second-best in the history of
the NBA. Chicago Bulls holds the record with a +11.8 rating in the 1996-1997
season.

The Celtics are currently placed at the top of the Eastern
Conference with 48 wins and 13 defeats. However, in their most recent outing,
they suffered a surprising defeat to the Cleveland Cavaliers with a score of 105-104.
