Santi Aldama had 15 points and 13 rebounds while GG Jackson recorded 14 points and 8 boards. Scotty Pippen Jr. provided 18 points and 4 steals off the bench while Jake LaRavia had 15 points.
Memphis improves to 24-47 with this win and now hold the 7th best odds for the top pick in the 2024 draft, where they’ll look to add another young prospect to their core. They are 4-6 over their last 10 games and will face off against the Denver Nuggets on Monday.
San Antonio drops to 15-55 with this loss and now has the 3rd worst record in the NBA. They are continuing to develop their prized possession Wemby and will look to give him help in the off-season. The Spurs are 3-7 over their last 10 games and will face off against the Phoenix Suns tomorrow.
