Oklahoma City Thunder are going through a great season as
they are placed in the second position in the Western Conference with 41 wins
and just 17 defeats.
They are only behind only Minnesota Timberwolves who are on
top of the table with 42 wins and 17 defeats. Their rise on the table is
largely down to their impressive results in the recent past where they have won
six in a row.
One of the star performers for the Thunder has been point
guard
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The 25-year-old has been contributing 31.2
points per game which is the second best in the competition. That’s not it as
he is also contributing 5.6 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.
Those numbers demand more respect for Gilgeous-Alexander who
should be in the mix to become the NBA’s Most Valuable Player this season.
In his most recent outing against the Houston Rockets, Gilgeous-Alexander
ended up registering 31 points to go with eight rebounds and three assists.
His most impressive outing this season came in the match
against the Sacramento Kings where he ended up contributing 43 points to go
with six rebounds and nine assists.
Gilgeous-Alexander registered 43 points in the match against
the Cleveland Cavaliers along with seven rebounds and five assists to his name.
