LeBron James and
Nikola Jokic are obviously two of the biggest names in the NBA right now and future Hall of Famers. They have found massive amounts of success in the league and are also both champions.
But they are two very different players, according to
Thomas Bryant, the
Miami Heat star who has played with both.
Speaking to Playmaker, Bryant said that you can see James' IQ on display during a game and his intelligence is apparent at every point in the way that he interacts with other players. Meanwhile, Jokic is much more quiet but still equally as driven.
According to Bryant, James is more of a player-coach, while Jokic definitely is not.
Last season, Bryant had the lucky opportunity to play alongside both James and Jokic in the very same year. He spent 56 games with the Lakers, scoring an average of 12.1 points and 6.8 rebounds. Then he moved to the Nuggets, where he put up 4.6 points and 3.3 rebounds.
Then, in the summer, he was moved to the Miami Heat, where he is averaging 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
Because both James and Jokic have found so much success in the NBA, it only makes sense that people compare the two. It's clear that they both have a ton of talent but it's also clear that they are very different in some huge ways.
