According to Marc Stein from "The Stein Line",
Charlotte Hornets' PJ Washington is being followed nearly by
Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks as well.
The Clippers are looking to strengthen their roster heading into the second half of the season. However, they are not the only contenders for Washington, as the Dallas Mavericks have also shown interest in the player.
Should the Mavericks seek to finalize a trade for Washington, the Hornets have made it clear that they would seek to include Josh Green in any deal.
In addition to the interest in Washington, the Clippers are reportedly exploring the market for two of their own players -
Bones Hyland and PJ Tucker. Hyland, who is still on his rookie contract, will be a restricted free agent in 2025. Meanwhile, Tucker, who hasn't played since Nov. 27, has no plans to discuss a termination deal if he isn't traded before the deadline, according to HoopsHype's Michael Scotto's sources.
