Detroit Pistons'
Bojan Bogdanovic and
Alec Burks were one of the most sought-after players before the upcoming trade deadline. Despite all the offers, now the Pistons seem reluctant in parting ways with their veteran shooters.
The Detroit Pistons are going through a season to forget, last in the overall standings and with all their guns aimed at getting a good selection in the next NBA Draft 2024.
With all this, there has been a lot of speculation that the Pistons will trade two of their most intriguing players in this transfer market: Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks. Both veterans sound like excellent reinforcements for teams with aspirations to win a ring, but apparently the prices the Pistons have set for them are too high.
Unless an offer came along that includes several future draft picks and/or some solid player to bolster the Michigan franchise, the Pistons plan to keep both shooters.
Alec Burks will be a free agent at the end of the season, while Bojan Bogdanovic has one more year on his contract with Detroit. Numerous teams have called to negotiate a trade to acquire one of the experienced players, but the Pistons are not considering lowering their ambitions for them.
