Sources informed The Athletic, that the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Detroit Pistons are finishing a deal that sends Monte Morris to the Wolves, and the Pistons get Shake Milton, Troy Brown Jr and a second-round pick.
Morris has played in just four games with the Pistons this season, as he has been dealing with an injury to his right quadriceps. During last season with the Washington Wizards, he averaged 10.3 points and 5.3 assists per game. He is currently in the final year of a three-year, $27.7 million contract he initially signed with the Denver Nuggets.
The Pistons are sitting on the league's worst record and went trough one of the longest losing streaks ever this season. They'll be receiving Troy Brown Jr and Shake Milton.
Milton is averaging 4.7 points per game this season, and Troy Brown 4.2 points in 35 games in Minnesota.
