Trade deadline: What do the Detroit Pistons want in return for Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks?

The upcoming trade deadline could boost the Detroit Pistons rebuild. It's been years since the Pistons were competitive in the East. However, if the Michigan franchise decides to trade its two highly coveted veterans on this market, Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks, the future of the franchise might start looking bright.

According to James Edwards of The Athletic, while the Pistons aren't as interested in trading both Bogdanovic and Burks so easily, the franchise is still listening to offers for both as long as they contain at least the price they've set for each.

Bojan Bogdanovic is the one of the most desired players by those teams that want to compete for the ring this year or in the short term. Detroit is asking for a first round pick and a young player with future projection in the NBA.

On the other hand, to trade Alec Burks, the Pistons will be hearing deals that include at least two second-round draft picks.

For the season, Bogdanovic is averaging 20.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for the Pistons, shooting 46.9% from the field and 41.7% on three-pointers.

Burks, meanwhile, is at 12.7 points, 1.5 assists, 39.1% shooting from the field and 40.2% on three-pointers.
