A funny situation happened during the game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers. In a game that wasn't a surprise at all featuring one of the NBA's title contenders against the second-to-last franchise in the Western Conference, a curious sequence happened between James Harden and Kawhi Leonard.
Fortunately for the public, despite the match being decided quickly, James Harden seemed to try to entertain the public with some on-court humor. Although Kawhi didn't thought this was funny at all.
With the Clippers up by 21, Harden runs the offense, attacks the rim and finds Kawhi Leonard open for a corner-three. Apparently, he was that wide open that Harden decided to close him out when Leonard was taking the shot. The result? a missed three for Kawhi and therefore, no assist for Harden.
LA is currently fourth in the West, far away from the top three teams but with the Pelicans right on their heels, they need to keep winning if they don't want to lose that homecourt advantage for the first round of these year's playoffs.
