The
Los Angeles Lakers power forward
Rui Hachimura believes it
will come down to ‘who wants it more’ when they face the Golden State
Warriors in an important clash on Saturday.
Both teams will face off in the bottom-of-the-table clash at
the crypto.com Arena in California which can have an impact on the team’s
qualification process to playoffs.
As things stand, the Lakers are currently placed in the ninth
position in the Western Conference with 36 wins and 31 defeats whereas the
Warriors are sitting one spot below them on the 10th spot with 34
wins and 31 defeats.
Hachimura, while talking to the media ahead of the match,
stated that both teams know each other very well after playing 10 times in the
last 10 months and it will all come down to which of the side will want to win it
more.
“They will probably be prepare for us,” said the 25-year-old
“It is a big game for us. We play them so many times so you know preseason,
playoffs during the season, all that stuff. We know each other well. [It will
be about] who wants it more, you know. We got to show more and try to get this
win tomorrow.”
Hachimura is having a decent season for the Lakers where he
is contributing 12.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
