Milwaukee Bucks point guard
Patrick Beverley and the New
York Knicks shooting guard
Josh Hart heaped praise on
Caitlin Clark after her
impressive performance in the NCAA Women's Championship Elite 8 round.
The 22-year-old is often regarded as the greatest prospect set
to join the WNBA next season and she has delivered numerous performances
throughout the campaign to reinforce that narrative.
Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes faced LSU Tigers for the rematch of
the last year’s Finals where the latter side came out on top with a score of
102-85.
However, this year, the lowa-born was not having any of it
as she produced a stunning performance and helped the side in taking a bit of
revenge for last year’s disappointing result.
The Hawkeyes emerged victorious in the contest with a score
of 94-87 at the MVP Arena in Albany, New York on Monday.
Clark was head and shoulder above the rest on the night, as
she has been throughout the season, and ended up registering 41 points to go
with 41 points to go with seven rebounds and 12 assists. She registered nine three-pointers
on the night in just 20 attempts, an impressive feat to say the least.
Buck point guard Beverley and Knicks shooting guard Heart heaped
praise on the youngster in a post on social media platform X. “She the Real
Deal,” wrote Beverley. “Caitlin Clark the truth,” was written by Hart in the
post.
