Spanish talented point guard, Ricky Rubio, has returned to play with his national team, in a game against Latvia for the EuroBasket qualifiers. Ricky decided to retire from NBA basketball last January, after going through a rough time battling mental and emotional issues. His had played his last game with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2021, when he suffered a major knee injury.

After this break, he decided to leave the NBA and signed with FC Barcelona. This return to his roots represents a new chapter in the career of Rubio, who returns to the club where he demonstrated his talent before embarking on his adventure in the best league in the world.

As for the game, it was a close battle between Spain and Latvia.
