Will Barton will be continuing his career in Russia

Former Denver Nuggets player Will Barton has decided to add an European chapter to his basketball career. The experienced forward-guard was drafted in 2012 and lived all his professional years as an NBA player. Now, he'll be moving to Russia, to play for the remainder of the season with CSKA Moscow.

Barton, 33, concluded last season with the Toronto Raptors after agreeing to a termination agreement with the Washington Wizards.

The veteran forward has made his mark in the NBA during his 11-year career, having previously played for the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers. His experience and versatility on the court make him a valuable player for the Russian team.

Although Barton could have been an interesting acquisition for one of the NBA's youngest teams to provide his experience and veteran leadership, his on-court minutes probably weren't going to be as relevant as they could be playing for a European team.
