February 8th marks the trade deadline, and as we come closer and closer, there's one player that hogged the most attention in this period. Dejounte Murray has been involved in all kinds of rumors about his future. But there's another guard that's sparked the interest between some franchises, Bogdan Bogdanovic. The talented Serbian seems to be on the radar of several teams.
So reports Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. The Hawks are not at all interested in trading Bogdanovic. The Serbian is staying with the Georgia franchise, which considers him as a core piece for the current project.
Following Michael Scotto's information, one of the teams that had inquired about Bogdanovic has been Minnesota Timberwolves: "Bogdan Bogdanovic has drawn the attention of the T-Wolves in recent weeks, according to sources. However, Wolves's situation, Bogdanovic's contract in addition to the Hawks' refusal make it unfeasible."
Atlanta Hawks' firm decision to keep the Serbian shooter on the roster is not surprising. Bogdan Bogdanovic is averaging 17.1 points this season (career-high), 43.1% from the field and 37.1% from three-point range, attempting 8.4 per game. He has played 45 games so far, and only six of them as a starter.
