Indiana Pacers guard
Tyrese Haliburton has heaped
praise on his former teammate
Sacramento Kings star De’Aaron Fox.
Pacers faced the Kings in a mouthwatering contest where they
came out on top with a score of 126-121. Before that match, Haliburton was full
of praise for his former teammate Fox whom he called ‘one of the best guards in
the league’.
“Fox has been one of the best guards in the league over the
past couple of years and Domas is a seamless fit,” he said. “They got really
good guys that fit in the group well, I think Malik [Monk] is a really good
player, Keegan [Murray] is a really good draft pick, they fill out the roster
really well so that has a lot to do with their success.”
In the match on Thursday, for the winning team, surprisingly
Haliburton did not take the field. It is not clear why he missed the match. Bennedict
Mathurin was the star performer for the home team as he ended up registering 25
points which included three rebounds.
For the losing team, it was Kevin Huerter who was the star performer
as he ended up registering 31 points. Fox had a good game as he registered 24
points for the winning team which included five rebounds and six assists.
