Fans on the social media heaped praise on the Denver Nuggets star player Nikola Jokic after he registered yet another milestone.
The 29-year-old, while playing in the match against the Golden State Warriors, registered a triple-double was his 139th and he is now ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. That is despite him playing more than 1,000 games less than the 39-year-old.
That record made a headline all over the internet as fans on social media heaped praise on Jokic some events went on to claim that he is better than James. The Nuggets came out on top in the contest with a score of 119-103 at the Chase Center on Sunday.
Jokic was undoubtedly the star performer for the winning team as he ended up registering 32 points to go with 16 rebounds and 16 assists.
This season, he has been a stellar performer for the Nuggets as he has contributed 26 points per game which is the 13th best in the competition. That’s not it as he is also contributing 12.2 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game.
His most impressive outing for the Nuggets in the 2023-24 season of the NBA came in the match against the Washington Wizards where he registered 42 points to go with eight rebounds and two assists.
