Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul has revealed that the son of the
Los Angeles Lakers star forward
LeBron James, Bronny, will consider the team’s
interest first not the draft position for a possible entry into the NBA.
The 19-year-old has been in the limelight because of his connection with LeBron who recently became the first player in the history of the NBA to
register more than 40,000 points.
Klutch Sports CEO Paul, who is currently managing Bronny and
a host of other young players, was recently quoted in a report where he stated
that the young player will consider the team’s interest before looking at the draft
position for his possible entry into the NBA next season.
"I don't value a young player getting into the lottery
as much as I do getting him on the right team in the right developmental
situation," said Paul.
Paul also talked about LeBron’s point of view regarding his
son and stated that he wants him to become his ‘own man’. "LeBron wants
Bronny to be his own man," he said.
Bronny had a turbulent
time in the last 12 months where he suffered a cardiac arrest and was out of action
for nearly five months. He is averaging 5.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.4
assists per game for the Trojans.
