The
Phoenix Suns' head coach
Frank Vogel has refused to rule
out shooting guard
Devin Booker from their next match.
The 27-year-old suffered a sprain in his right ankle during
the Suns match against the
Houston Rockets.
After the match, Vogel revealed that the decision would be
taken later depending on how the player would respond as the X-ray reportedly
came out negative. "We'll see how he responds overnight," said the
50-year-old.
The night did not go as planned as they suffered a defeat to
the Rockets with a score of 118-109 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix.
It was the Suns’ third defeat in the last five matches in
the competition which left them on the sixth position in the Western Conference
with 35 wins and 25 defeats this season.
On the night, the star show for the winning team was shooting
guard Jalen Green who registered 34 points to go with nine rebounds and four
assists.
On the other hand, for the losing team, Booker was the
standout performer as he contributed 24 points to go with two rebounds and five
assists. It was the fifth consecutive fixture in the competition where the
Michigan-born ended up registering 20 or more points for the Suns.
