D'Angelo Russell and LeBron James lead Los Angeles Lakers to (finally) comfortable win

Los Angeles Lakers' 136-105 victory over Atlanta Hawks at crypto.com Arena leaves the Los Angeles Lakers in the middle of a battle with Golden State Warriors for ninth place in the Western Conference and helps them forget the loss to the Bay Area team over the weekend;

Anthony Davis, despite his corneal problem, was able to play and contributed 22 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. LeBron James finished with 25 points and 10 assists and D'Angelo Russell was back to his best with 27 points (6 three-pointers) and 10 assists. In addition, Rui Hachimura contributed 17 points;

For the Hawks, the 25 points from Jalen Johnson, who missed 9 of the 11 three-pointers he attempted, were no help. Bogdan Bogdanovic finished with 17 points and Dejounte Murray (1 of 9 three-pointers) with 13 points and 10 assists.

This victory, coupled with the Warriors' loss to the Knicks, leaves the Lakers in ninth place in the West with 37 wins and 32 losses (35-32 for Golden State). The Hawks, meanwhile, are tenth in the East and it is difficult for them to move from there.
