The
Milwaukee Bucks just experienced their fourth straight loss, which is not what they wanted this close to the playoffs. They are still firmly poised to make a push into the postseason but some of these losses are very troubling.
Because of that,
Doc Rivers gathered multiple Bucks players together on Sunday night for a video session. His goal was to let the players speak their minds and express their opinions about the team's problems right now.
Rivers is hoping to get the team back in good shape before the playoffs start.
According to reports,
Giannis Antetokounmpo,
Damian Lillard, Khris Middleton, Malik Beasley, Brooke Lopez, Pat Connaughton, Patrick Beverley, and Jaw Crowder participated in the video session although it is not clear what was said.
The Bucks had just lost 122-109 to the New York Knicks. In the days before, they had also fallen to the Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies, and Washington Wizards. It is true that the Bucks didn't have Giannis Antetokounmpo for one game and Damian Lillard for a couple of others but most analysts agreed that they should have been able to overcome the Wizards, Grizzlies, and Raptors.
This is not a good sign for the Bucks, who have been hoping for postseason greatness all year long. They were pushed out of the playoffs in the first round last season and they were desperate to make sure it doesn't happen again this time. Although they may still have a great run in the upcoming playoffs, these recent losses are gravely concerning and they have many fans people nervous right now.
The Bucks only have four games left in the regular season and they will be tough ones. They are playing against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, followed by the Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Magic again.
How long will this losing streak continue and will Rivers' heart-to-heart with the team help them get it together?
