Los Angeles Clippers veteran point guard Russell
Westbrook got into an altercation with a fan before the match against the Charlotte
Hornets.
In a video that appeared on the social media platform X, the
35-year-old could be seen getting into an altercation with the fan sitting two
rows back during the warmup before the match on Sunday.
"Don’t disrespect my name. Do you understand me? I
don’t give a f**k,” were Westbrook’s words in a video that went viral on social
media.
Despite the not-so-pleasant beginning, Westbrook had a
relatively good night as the Clippers secured an important win over the Hornets
with a score of 130-118 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.
It was the Clippers’ third consecutive win which kept the side
on the fourth position in the Western Conference table with 47 wins and 27
defeats.
The star of the show for the winning team on the night was
forward Paul George who ended up registering 41 points to go with seven rebounds
and four assists. He was well-supported by Ivica Zubac and Kawhi Leonard who ended
up registering 24 and 23 points, respectively.
Westbrook ended up playing 20 minutes for the winning team and
registered 11 points to go with five rebounds and four assists.
