The
New York Knicks star shooting guard
Josh Hart has stated
that he would be ‘pleasantly surprised’ if forwards
OG Anunoby and Julius
Randle return to the court before the end of the ongoing campaign.
Both star players have been out of action for a while
because of injury concerns. Anunoby is currently recovering from an elbow injury
whereas Randle is on the sidelines because of a shoulder injury.
Hart was quoted after the team’s recent heartbreaking defeat
to
Oklahoma City Thunder with a score of 113-112 at the Madison Square Garden
in New York where he stated that he would be surprised if either of those two players returned to the court before the end of the season and urged the other team
members to prepare for the remaining matches keeping in mind just the
players who are currently available.
"I'm looking at it like this is the team we're going to
have," said Hart "I think that's how we have to approach it, that
those guys aren't coming back and obviously we'll be pleasantly surprised if
they come back.
"I'm not in those medical conversations or anything
like that, so I don't know s--- from s---. But we've got to approach every game
and the end of this season that those guys aren't coming back, and if they do,
be pleasantly surprised."
