Golden State Warriors power forward
Draymond Green believes that
getting suspended helped the side in testing the bench strength.
The Warriors have on a bit of a role in the recent past as
they have won their last five matches in the campaign. Their most recent win
came in the match against the Utah Jazz with a score of 129-107 at the Delta
Center in Utah.
Green was recently quoted in a report where he stated that
suspensions and injuries proved to be a blessing in disguise for the Warriors
as they tested the depth of the squad.
“Honestly getting suspended helped,” he said. “Jonathan Kuminga’s
taken off and that has kind a set the stage for this team. Bona fide #2 for
this team. Now you get different things. You are able to figure out different
things.
“You can go to our office and it does not have to look
exactly the same as it used to look. We are going to find different
combinations that will work. Again it is just like plug and places there. So
now you add me back into the fray. You add Gary Payton II, Chris Paul will be
coming back so now we have got those pieces coming back together you known you
can rely on.”
