Minnesota Timberwolves star shooting guard
Anthony Edwards missed
a dunk during the match against the
Los Angeles Lakers.
In a video that appeared on the social media platform X — previously
known as Twitter — the 22-year-old missed a dunk on
Anthony Davis in the first
quarter of the match.
The Timberwolves ended up on the losing side with a score of
120-109 at the crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday.
It was their second consecutive defeats in the competition
which left the Timberwolves on the third position in the Western Conference
with 44 wins and 21 defeats.
On the other hand, the Lakers registered their second
consecutive win in the competition which left them in the ninth position in the
Western Conference with 36 wins and 30 defeats.
Edwards was the star performer for the losing side on the
night as he ended up registering 25 points to go with seven rebounds and seven
assists. He was well-supported by Naz Reid who registered 25 points as well to
go with five rebounds and three assists.
On the other hand, for the winning team, veteran and star forward
LeBron James was the stand-out performer as he ended up registering 29 points
to go with eight rebounds and nine assists.
