In Pictures: Victor Wembanyama’s alien inspired Nike shoes for 2024 NBA Rising Stars Challenge

San Antonio Spurs young center showed off his new shoes which he is set to wear in an upcoming event.

The pictures appeared on the social media platform X — previously known as Twitter — to be worn by Wembanyama in the upcoming 2024 Panini Rising Stars Challenge.

The shoes have an image of an alien design which was drawn by the 20-year-old himself. Wembanyama is often regarded as one of the most highly-rated young players currently playing in the circuit.

He is amongst the top performers for the side who are having a tough time this season as they have just won 11 matches and suffered 44 defeats. It is because of this reason they are placed in the fifth position in the Southwest Division.

Wembanyama is averaging 20.5 points, 10 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game for the Spurs this season. In his previous outing against the Dallas Mavericks where Spurs suffered a defeat with a score of 116-93, he ended up registering 26 points to go with nine rebounds and five assists.

His best outing this season came in the match against the Phoenix Suns where he registered 38 points to go with 10 rebounds and two assists.
