Podcast co-host Kevin O'Connor has revealed the reason behind the rumours of LeBron James moving from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Golden State Warriors.
The 39-year-old’s future has been discussed intensely in the recent past as it has been reported numerous times that he will be traded by the Lakers in the ongoing transfer window.
While that remains unlikely as there has been no movement from any parties, James’ long-term future is still up for debate as he already hinted that he might consider retirement in the near future but at the same time, he has been heavily linked with a move to the Warriors.
Famous podcast co-host O'Connor shared details as to why such rumours emerged as according to him, James has a wish playing with the likes of Stephen Curry and one his best mates Draymond Green.
"No one needs a source to tell you those conversations will happen if they haven't already, given Draymond’s love for LeBron, the Klutch connection, and his history of recruiting," he wrote.
"Interest between LeBron and the Warriors could be mutual. LeBron is BFFs with Draymond and he's already said that Steph Curry is the current player he'd most like to play with."
James is having yet another impressive season for the Lakers where he is averaging 24.9 points per game to go with 7.3 rebounds and 7.6 assists.
