Trade rumors: Multiple NBA team could make big moves by the deadline

NBA fans are now just hours away from the upcoming February trade deadline. Within the next few days, some of the most popular franchises in the league could undergo some pretty serious changes. While every team could commit to trades, a few of them need more help than others.

The Dallas Mavericks are one of the teams to keep an eye on as Thursday approaches. They started the season strongly and were one of the best teams in the West. But recently, the Mavericks have slipped down in the standings and are now eighth in the Western Conference.

This is all happening as Luka Doncic plays incredible basketball, scoring 34.8 points per game. Additionally, there are questions about his future. Will he stick around with a team that continues to come up short or will he demand a trade? All of this must be considered by Dallas' front office in the days ahead.

The Miami Heat could also do something big before the deadline. They recently added Terry Rozier, previously of the Charlotte Hornets, but he hasn't made much of an impact yet.
