Boston Celtics point guard
Jrue Holiday has heaped praise on
veteran centre
Al Horford after his heroics in the match against the Phoenix
Suns.
The 37-year-old had a brilliant night for the Celtics as he
registered 24 points to go with three rebounds and three assists.
Holiday was later quoted in a report where he called Horford
‘O.G.’ because of his reliability and also stated that he was proud of playing
with someone of his stature.
"He's the O.G.," said Holiday. "He's probably
the most reliable player I've ever played with. I think being able to be on the
court with him is an honour. Being out there with him, I just know everything is
going to go well.
“Every time he gets on the court you just know he's going to
do something great. [It was] a big game from him. "Started us off going
crazy. Super happy for the win."
The Celtics went on to win the contest with a score of
127-112 at the TD Garden in Boston on Thursday. With that win, the Celtics
strengthened their position at the top of the Eastern Conference with 52 wins and
14 defeats.
The Suns, however, are now placed in the seventh position in
the Western Conference with 38 wins and 28 defeats.
