New York Knicks power forward
Julius Randle has been ruled out
of the match against the
Charlotte Hornets. The match is set to take place on
Monday at the Spectrum Center.
As per the latest report, the Knicks have suffered a massive
blow as their forward Randle has been ruled out of the competition after
suffering a shoulder injury.
It will be interesting to see how the players will perform
in the upcoming fixture considering they are on a six-match winning streak. In
their previous outing, the Knicks managed to defeat the Miami Heat with a score
of 125-109. That defeat kept the side in the third position in the Atlantic
standings with 29 wins and 17 defeats.
In Randle’s absence, the onus will be on Jalen Brunson who
is currently leading the points per game chart for the Knicks as he is scoring 26.6
points per game to go with the help of 3.9 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.
Randle is having an impressive season where he is averaging
24 points per game to go with 9.2 rebounds and five assists. In the previous
game against the Heat, the Dallas-born ended up registering 19 points for the
winning team to go with nine rebounds and three assists.
