There are many NBA fans who believe that LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is the greatest basketball player of all time. But what do other players believe?
According to former NBA star Kwame Brown, they don't think that James is in the running for the best player to ever suit up in the league.
Speaking to the YouTube channel Dreamers Pro, Brown said:
"People say LeBron is the GOAT because he controls the media… no NBA player actually thinks LeBron is the GOAT."
Brown and many others feel that Michael Jordan is the best NBA star ever. Indeed, the modern debate comes down to James and Jordan.
This season has seen James do multiple historic things, including passing 40,000 career points, a feat that hadn't been accomplished by anyone else, including Jordan.
Despite that, there are still some who feel that James is not worthy of the GOAT title. Stephen A. Smith, for example, is one person who says he'll "never" put James above Jordan.

It's what you were at you best versus them at their best. And what level of adversity you faced at the time you were being your best."
James has definitely done certain things that Jordan never did but that doesn't give him the GOAT title to some. No matter what many NBA fans think, Brown claims that many players won't ever view James as the greatest to ever play.
