The
New York Knicks have received a major boost after a
recent update revealed that star forward
OG Anunoby has not suffered any major
injury in his elbow.
The 26-year-old, who has featured just 44 times this season,
spent a lot of time out of action and suffered a serious elbow injury as well for
which he was operated on.
Anunoby recently returned to action but was taken off during
the match after feeling discomfort in the same elbow. Dr. Campbell, who is involved in dealing with this issue, was
recently quoted in a report where he revealed the news that will definitely
excite the Knick fans.
“Unfortunately, he did have a setback," said Campbell.
"The good news for Knicks fans out there is that he had an MRI and the
reports are the MRI did not show any new damage.
“There was some inflammation in his elbow and I think the
Knicks staff were doing a really fantastic job of making sure that they’re
appropriately rehabbing him to get him back on the court in a safe time frame.”
Anunoby is having a good season for the Knicks where he is
contributing 14.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
