LeBron James is going to be participating in his 20th All-Star game. The kid from Akron is now 39 years old and has a full set of records of his own, including All-Star appearances (20) and All-Star games played (19). Kenny Smith and the rest of the TNT crew had a little time to talk to the King and asked him about the newcomers and the future faces of the NBA.
LeBron shared his thoughts and praised the guys that have been battling with him for all these years, like Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry, both players that he admires and respects from all of these passed seasons. KD joined the NBA in 2007 and Curry in 2009, so they go way way back.
The 4-time NBA Champion, LeBron James, stated: "Shai, Ant- Man. I feel like those are two of the guys that can continue the torch. After I'm done, after Steph, KD. Guys that've been setting the standard for so many years. Ant-Man has the carisma, JT on the other side, cause he's not in my locker room cause his with the East, but JT as well, Luka. Those young guys are amazing so, looking forward to see those guys go out and just show the talent they're capable off."
He also seemed very happy with the new guys, Anthony Edwards and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, whit whom he shares the Western All-Stars locker room. He also mentioned that any of them, including Luka Doncic or Jayson Tatum are ready to be the new faces of the league.
