Last night, we've witnessed a ground breaking event, when we saw the first 3-point competition between an NBA player,
Stephen Curry, and a WNBA player,
Sabrina Ionescu. Both of them gaved a hell of a show, with Ionescu suprising everyone. As part of the event success, it seems like both of the world's best shooters are thinking on making some tweaks for bringing the event back next year.
Amazing performance by both shooters on Saturday night, Sabrina and Steph shot the lights out and surpassed everyone expectations on the event. Ionescu surprised everyone shooting from NBA three-point distance, scoring an astonishing 26 points.
Curry on his part, was also superb, finishing the contest with 29 points, but needing almost every shot he took.
Apparently, due to the event's outcome, the protagonists have been discussing the possibility to play again on this challenge, but maybe adding a few details to make it even more interesting.
"We've been talking about finding different ways to change this up next year. And..I think he ¨[Steph] has a partner in mind that's gonna join him so I'm open to any partner that can help me win and take that belt that he has away from him."
So it seems like maybe
Klay Thompson could be joining these two for next year. Who else could join forces to Ionescu in order to take the champion belt to the WNBA?.
