The
Los Angeles Lakers are set to receive a major boost as power
forward
Jarred Vanderbilt and
Gabe Vincent are edging closer to returning to
full fitness.
Both players have been out of action for most of the season
and their absence has been felt by the side who have struggled to put a series
of good results.
However, things are about to get better for the Lakers as
both Vanderbilt and Vincent are edging closer to returning to full fitness.
NBA journalist and Lakers insider Anthony F. Irwin, in a
post on his official account on the social media platform X — previously known
as Twitter — updated that Vanderbilt is not wearing the walking boot.
“Important note on the sideline: Jarred Vanderbilt is no
longer wearing that walking boot,” he wrote.
On the other hand, the Athletic journalist Shams Charania
was quoted in a report where he stated that Vincent is on track to be available
for team selection in late March.
"Gabe Vincent is doing more and more on the
court...Barring any setbacks, his hope is still mid to late March to get back
in the lineup for the Lakers,” he said.
The Lakers are currently placed in the ninth position in the
Western Conference with 34 wins and 29 defeats this season.
