The
Los Angeles Lakers have recently made a surprising move
to sign former Brooklyn Neta player
Spencer Dinwiddie. The move was a surprising
one especially after the franchises decided to not sign anyone on the deadline
day during the recently concluded transfer window.
With his arrival, the Lakers have solidified the bench strength
for the remainder of the campaign. Let’s take a look at how different areas of
the Lakers squad look ahead of the business end of the campaign.
Starting Lineup: D’Angelo Russell,
Austin Reaves,
LeBron James, Rui
Hachimura,
Anthony Davis The starting lineup looks just about right for the Lakers. The star attraction
from the starting lineup has been none other than LeBron James who has registered
24.8 points per game which is the best by any player in the squad.
Important Bench Players: Spencer Dinwiddie, Taurean Prince, Christian Wood
On the bench, the star player has to be Dinwiddie who is
averaging 12.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and six assists per game this season.
Limited Rotation Players: Skylar Mays, Jalen Hood-Schifino, Jaxson Hayes, Colin
Castleton
Limited rotation players feature some up-and-coming names as
well like 23-year-old Jaxson Hayes who is averaging 3.6 points, 2.3 rebounds
and 0.5 assists per game.
Injured Players: Max Christie, Jarred Vanderbilt, Cam Reddish, Gabe Vincent
Amongst the injured players, Lakers management will be
hoping for a swift return of at least two players — Max Christie and Jarred
Vanderbilt — who have delivered some important performances in the recent past.
