The Dallas Mavericks front office is pretty busy this trade season. Currently they are on the look to land a backup center to fit Luka Doncic's game and serve as a rotation for up-and-comer Dereck Lively II. The Texas franchise has turned its attention to the Washington Wizards.
According to revelations from Action Network's Matt Moore, the Mavs have set their sights on gifted Wizards center Daniel Gafford in an effort to strengthen their inside game.
In addition, rumors have spread that Dallas may have its sights set on versatile small forward Kyle Kuzma, also of the Wizards, raising the possibility of a trade involving both players.
Dallas Mavericks, with a 24-18 record, ranks sixth in the Western Conference. This active search for reinforcements underscores the franchise's determination to strengthen its roster as it looks to compete with the top teams in the Western Conference, such as the Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets, among others.
