Denver Nuggets power forward
Aaron Gordon has stated that he
has no idea why the franchise only has one player participating in the NBA
All-Star
this season (only
Nikola Jokic and not
Jamal Murray).
The mega-event is set to take place on February 19 where a host of players will participate on a special night to entertain the fans.
The 28-year-old was recently quoted in a report where he
stated that it remains a mystery to him why there is only one player from the
Nuggets being selected for such an event.
"I don't know why that is. Not entirely sure. That's a
mystery to me. Doesn't make any sense,” he said. “It was crazy from the outside
but now I am in the inside and it makes no sense to me. Polly definitely should
have been there. I am not sure. It is just peanuts to the elephant.”
The Nuggets are going through a decent campaign as they are
placed on the third position in the Northwest Division with 36 wins and 19
defeats.
Gordon, on a personal level, is having an impressive time on
the court where he is averaging 13.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per
game. In his most recent outing against the Sacramento Kings, he registered 25
points to go with 15 rebounds and two assists.
