The NBA has announced that the referee missed 10 calls as the Minnesota Timberwolves suffered a heartbreak defeat against the Charlotte Hornets.
On a night where Karl-Anthony Towns was exceptional for his team, it was not proved to be enough as the Hornets came from behind to secure a win with a score of 128-125 on Monday.
As per the NBA, it has been declared that the match referee missed 10 calls during the final two minutes of the game, including two fouls on Towns. Therefore, it was not a surprise to see him furious at the end of the match.
Towns ended up registering a whopping 62 points for the team on the night including eight rebounds and two assists. It was by far his best outing for the team this season as previously, his best performance came in the match against the Indiana Pacers where he registered 40 points including 12 rebounds and four assists.

Towns is having an impressive season overall for the franchise where he is second in the list when it comes to registering points per game. He has registered 22.5 points per game, behind only Anthony Edwards who is averaging 25.5 points per game.
Timberwolves will be hoping to bounce back from the defeat against Hornets when they will face the Washington Wizards in their next match on Thursday.
