NBA Rumors: Veteran forward Marcus Morris is reported leaning towards signing for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The 34-year-old has last played for San Antonio Spurs but as per the latest report, he is now edging closer to signing for the Timberwolves.

The report stated that his arrival will enhance the team combination ahead of the all-important playoffs for the remainder of the season as well.

The Timberwolves are having an impressive season as they are placed on the first position in the Northwest Standings with 36 wins and 16 defeats.

In the most recent outing against the Milwaukee Bucks, the Timberwolves came out on top with a score of 129-105 at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Friday. It was their fourth win in their last six matches. They will next go up against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday.

Morris is having a decent season where he is averaging 6.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. In his most recent outing against the Dallas Mavericks, he ended up registering 10 points to go with five rebounds. His best outing this season came in the match against the Denver Nuggets where he ended up registering 17 points to go with two assists.
