According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the New York Knicks are going to dispute the 105-103 loss suffered on Monday night against the Houston Rockets. They are filling in a protest to a missjudged foul call on Jalen Brunson which led to two crucial free throws in Rockets' favor.
Both NBA's "last-two-minute report" and the crew chief, Ed Malloy acknowledged that the foul call on Jalen Brunson when the game was expiring was incorrectly called.
By doing this, the Knicks hope to win this protest and that the NBA would proceed to re-schedule the match in order to play the overtime period left to complete the game.
Any NBA team is allowed to file a protest with the league office up until 48 hours after a game has ended. This process then continues with five days for the team to properly present the evidence of the protested action. Finally, the NBA has five more days to make a decision.
