Fans on social media raised concern about the future of
the
Los Angeles Lakers head coach
Darvin Ham after their recent defeat against the
Sacramento Kings.
The Lakers season has gone from bad to worse as they lost to the
Sacramento Kings in their most recent fixture with a score of 120-107 at the Golden
1 Center on Wednesday.
The result, which was the Lakers' third defeat in the last
six matches, left the side in ninth place in the Western Conference with 36
wins and 31 defeats.
After the result, fans on the social media platform X — previously
known as Twitter — expressed their disappointment about the team’s performance.
One of them even went on to suggest that as things stand, the chances of Ham
being the head coach of the Lakers next season are looking very slim.
"Literally all signs right now point to Darvin Ham not
being the coach next season,” the fan wrote in the post on X.
On the night, the standout performer for the Lakers was
shooting guard Austin Reaves who ended up registering 28 points to go with six
rebounds and four assists.
On the other hand, for the winning team, forward Harrison
Barnes was the star performer as he registered 23 points to go with two
rebounds and two assists.
