Orlando Magic’s young forward
Paolo Banchero flexed on social media after equaling the record of some of the greats in the NBA.
The 21-year-old is having a fabulous season on a personal level
where he is contributing 22.7 points per game which is the best by any Magic player
this season. That’s not it as he is also contributing 6.8 rebounds and 5.3
assists per game.
While doing that, Banchero joined an elite list of players to
have a season at the age of just 21 where they averaged more than 22 points,
five rebounds and five assists per game. Only three players before him managed
to achieve that —
Michael Jordan,
LeBron James and
Luka Doncic.
Banchero, in a post on the social media platform X — previously
known as Twitter — flexed about the achievement by writing: "Catch up now
or find out later."
The Washington-born remains one of the primary reasons why
the Magic are placed in the fifth position in the Eastern Conference with 39
wins and 28 defeats this season.
Banchero’s best outing this season came in the match against
the Dallas Mavericks in January where he ended up registering 36 points to go
with nine rebounds and seven assists for the Magic.
