Both youngsters are amongst the top performers for the Magic
side in the ongoing campaign. It is because of this reason, Banchero and Wagner
are on their way to becoming the second youngest duo in the history of the NBA to
average 20 or more points per game in a season.
As things stand, Banchero is averaging 22.8 points per game
this season for the Magic to go with 6.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists. In the team’s
previous outing against the New York Knicks, the 21-year-old ended up registering
36 points to go with six rebounds and five assists.
His best outing this season came in the match against the Sacramento
Kings where he registered 43 points to go with four rebounds and five assists.
On the other hand, Wagner, who plays as a small forward for
the Magic, is averaging 21.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and four assists per game
this season. In the most recent outing, he ended up registering 21 points to go
with three rebounds and six assists.
His most impressive outing this season came in the match against
the Detroit Pistons where he registered 38 points to go with three rebounds and
two assists.
