Brooklyn Nets are interested in signing Atlanta Hawks young shooting guard Dejounte Murray in the ongoing transfer window.
The NBA mid-season transfer window is coming to an end on February 08 as teams are now finalising their strategy to strengthen their squad.
As per the latest report, the Nets are still keen on making some additions before the end of the transfer window and one of the players they are keeping an eye on is Murray.
The 27-year-old has been one of the star performers for the Hawks in the ongoing campaign where he is averaging 21.5 points, five rebounds and 5.2 assists per game.
In the team’s previous game against the Los Angeles Lakers, he ended up registering 24 points along with four rebounds and nine assists. It was the seventh consecutive match in the competition where Murray managed to register 20 or more points for the side.
As per the latest report, Murray is not the only player who is attracting interest from the Nets who are also interested in making a move for Lakers point guard D’Angelo Russell.
The 27-year-old is averaging 17 points, 2.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game this season. His best outing this season came in the match against the Utah Jazz where he registered 39 points with the help of three rebounds and eight assists.
