Darvin Ham’s future as the head coach of the Los Angeles
Lakers can be decided in the month of March, if the latest reports are to be believed.
The Lakers are going through a difficult campaign where they
are placed in the 10th position in the Western Conference with 33
wins and 29 defeats.
As per the latest report, Ham’s job with the Lakers remains
safe for now but that depends largely on how the team will perform in March.
The report further stated that the 50-year-old can still
lose his job if the Lakers fail to qualify for the playoffs this season.
The Lakers suffered a defeat in their previous outing against
the Denver Nuggets with a score of 124-114 on Saturday at the crypto.com Arena
in Los Angeles. It was their third defeat in the last six fixtures in the competition.
The star performer for the winning team was the Nuggets’ Nikola
Jokic who ended up contributing 35 points to go with 10 rebounds and seven
assists to his name.
On the other hand, for the losing side, veteran forward and
star player LeBron James was the standout performer as he ended up registering 26
points to go with four rebounds and nine assists.
