Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James made a touching gesture towards journalist Jeff Zillgitt. In a recent conversation with the media, the 39-year-old responded to a host of answers from different personnel.
The press talk ended with Zillgitt asking a question to James, something that was welcomed by the star player who expressed his feelings in his response as well.
"First of all, it's f***ing great to see you," James said. "It's so great to see you, Jeff. Love this and the fact that you got the last question is even greater. You tried to hide in the back, I love that as well. Love you, man. Wow, it's great to see you."
The reason for such a nice response from James was that Zillgitt recently went through treatment to fight cancer. The four-time NBA champion was one of the stars who wished Zillgitt good luck while going through treatment to fight the illness.
James is going through an impressive season for the Lakers where he is averaging 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game. In his most recent outing against the Detroit Pistons, James ended up registering 25 points to go with one rebound and eight assists.
His most impressive outing this season came in the match against the Oklahoma City Thunder where he registered 40 points to go with seven rebounds and seven assists.
