Golden State Warriors star point guard
Stephen Curry has
named three players who will take the league forward once the three players will
retire.
Curry is amongst three of the most renowned players
currently taking part in the NBA including Los Angeles Lakers star
LeBron James
and
Phoenix Suns point forward Kevin Durant.
Curry was recently asked which players will take the league
forward once he, James and Durant will retire. He responded by naming Dallas
Mavericks’
Luka Doncic,
Oklahoma City Thunder’s
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Minnesota
Timberwolves’
Anthony Edwards.
Doncic is perhaps the most in-form player currently playing
in the competition where he is averaging 34.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 9.5 assists
per game for Mavericks. In his most recent outing against the San Antonio Spurs,
he ended up registering 27 points to go with nine rebounds and eight assists.
Gilgeous-Alexander, on the other hand, is having a fabulous
season where he is averaging 31.1 points per game which is the second-best in
the divisions. To go with that, he is averaging 5.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists
per game.
Edwards is averaging 26.3 points to go with 5.2 rebounds and
5.3 assists per game for the Timberwolves. In his previous outing against the
Portland Trail Blazers, he ended up registering 34 points to go with six
rebounds and seven assists.
