The
Golden State Warriors star
Stephen Curry had another
impressive night on Sunday, but it was not enough to save his side from a hard-fought
defeat.
The Warriors ended the match on the losing side against the Minnesota
Timberwolves with a score of 114-110 at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
The defeat left the Warriors in a tight spot as they are currently
placed in the 10th position in the Western Conference with 36 wins
and 34 defeats.
They are closely followed by the Houston Rockets who are sitting
a place below them with 35 wins and 35 defeats this season.
Even though the result did not go their way, Curry was by
the standout performer for the losing team as he ended the night with 31 points
to his name with the help of four rebounds and three assists. He registered
42.9 per cent field points and a perfect eight from eight from the charity shape.
While doing so, Curry registered 3,700 three-pointers in the
NBA. He became the first player in the history of the competition to achieve
that milestone.
Curry is having a fabulous season on a personal level where
he is contributing 26.8 points per game which is by far the best by a Warriors player
in the ongoing campaign.
