Los Angeles Lakers star
LeBron James’ son
Bronny James has been
the point of discussion amongst the fans on social media as the
NBA draft is coming
closer.
As per some reports, Bronny will not be drafted for the next
season, largely because of his performances this season.
However, there are some notable reasons why franchises might
be tempted to sign the youngster. One of them could be LeBron’s wish to play alongside
his son in the same season. They will become the first father-son duo to play
in the same season.
Teams might also be tempted to sign Bronny considering he is
a rooky and will not cost much to any team. Also, if he becomes a
success, the James brand will attract a lot of fanbase, something that
would turn out to be a bonus.
One more reason why the franchises will be keen on adding someone
like Bronny to their contingent is because of the resilience shown by the
youngsters.
The 19-year-old
suffered cardiac arrest during training earlier this season but managed to come back and is still playing for the USC Trojans. That kind of character might become a valuable
asset in the future. He is averaging 5.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per
game.
